Chris Mallek said… Hi Mary,
I'd be happy to be involved to whatever extent the group is interested in hearing from another(?) fire ecologist. I have a particular pet interest in the management of Gowen and Monterey cypress which are endemic to the peninsula, but my interest extends to this region as a whole. I know I'm coming into this late in the game, but I'd like to attend the late-April meeting to get a better sense of if/how I could contribute. Thoughts?

Thanks for your message, Mary. I'll try to get up to speed on the organization over the next couple of weeks and then get in touch as the opportunity permits.
Hi Mary,
Well... actually that is the new logo for our organization. Supposed to be 6 CA poppies intertwined, to represent interconnection.
Lisa Roper said… Wow! Nice pictures Mary. It is nice to match a fact to a name.
